Location, location, location! Shearwater Motel sits"On the Estuary" with its own jetty and access to the harbor overlooking moored boats and marine activity. Jump from the pool into the sea: thats when the tide is in. Only a 8 minute stroll to central town's shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Under renovation at present the motel is offering a more boutique feel with some home luxuries. Tropical gardens surround the swimming pool which nestles on the estuary. A magic hidden paradise perfect for your relaxing holiday destination. Or it you venture out for the day, Whitianga and Mercury Bay wont disappoint with an array of activities available for all ages and interests. Come home and relax by the pool with a barbecue and a cold one. We have 2 studios, and 3 appartments, one of which can host up to 10 people. The motel is an ideal choice for a celebration or family wedding with our resident celebrant on hand.
